Owl Art (59/180)

D participated in her Zoom book group and Snail Mail class.  J participated in her Puppetry Zoom class.

D and J participated in their MAHC Zoom classes.  R had soccer practice and a game.

Wedding cupcakes (53/180)

 D attended her online book club.  

J and D began their Staging Journeys classes.  J is taking Puppetry, and D is taking Snail Mail.

J began participating in her online Ballet 1x class.

W participated in his MCCC classes, and R participated in his LMVA classes.

D and J read with support and worked with HWT and ETC and Zearn.  D practiced her ukelele.

D was invited to make the cupcakes for her grandmother's wedding!  Here she is making the frosting and the finished product:



J and R helped set up and usher for the ceremony in person.  W hosted the Zoom wedding for family and friends around the country.

MAHC online (46/180)

D participated in her online book club.

D and J began their online MAHC classes.  D is taking Theater (which didn't meet this week), Let's Make Lunch (here is her pico de gallo, it was delicious), and Gardening.  J is taking Art and Gardening.

 

W participated in his MCCC classes.  R began working with his LMVA classes.

R went to soccer practice.

D and J read with support, worked with HWT and ETC, and Zearn.  D practiced her ukelele.

Snake! (40/180)

D participated via Zoom in her book group.

R met with his school guidance counselor to choose his classes.

W participated in his MCCC classes.

We acquired a snake.  He is a 5' long, 15 year old California King snake.  A neighbor was giving him away.  He was about to shed when we picked him up and here is his shed!



D and J read with support, worked with HWT and ETC.  They worked with Zearn math.  D practiced her ukelele.

Learner's Permit and ... SCHOOL?!? (35/180)

 D attended her Zoom bookclub.  J attended her Zoom ballet class.  All the kids attended their religious education classes.

W passed his Learner's Permit test and can officially start learning to drive!

R is formally enrolled in the Lower Merion Virtual Academy program through Lower Merion School District for 9th grade.  That means, officially he isn't homeschooling anymore.  I'll probably keep blogging his activities, though.  For one thing it's hard to let go, and for another thing, we're not requiring him to stay in school all year if it's awful.  

W and R read independently.  D and J read with support.

D and J worked with ETC and HWT.  D journaled.  D and J worked with Zearn math.

Top O'Dunes! (30/180)

 D attended her Zoom book group.

We spent a large portion of the week at Top O'Dunes in Harvey Cedars, NJ.  

(Here, the girls are seeing dolphins, LOTS of dolphins, although cell phone cameras aren't really up to capturing them in the water.)

All the kids participated in a donation drive for the Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line.

Shirts (27/180)

 D attended her book club via Zoom.  J attended a ballet class via Zoom.

D was asked to alter 25 shirts for her dad's company - for pay.  She did a great job, completing the work in just 2 days (with help from mom and sister.)



W and R read independently.  D and J read with support.

D and J both worked with Explode the Code, Handwriting Without Tears, and Zearn math.  Both practiced ukelele.  D journaled.
