R met with his school guidance counselor to choose his classes.

We acquired a snake. He is a 5' long, 15 year old California King snake. A neighbor was giving him away. He was about to shed when we picked him up and here is his shed!

W passed his Learner's Permit test and can officially start learning to drive!
R is formally enrolled in the Lower Merion Virtual Academy program through Lower Merion School District for 9th grade. That means, officially he isn't homeschooling anymore. I'll probably keep blogging his activities, though. For one thing it's hard to let go, and for another thing, we're not requiring him to stay in school all year if it's awful.

We spent a large portion of the week at Top O'Dunes in Harvey Cedars, NJ.

All the kids participated in a donation drive for the Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line.
