Dyeing Eggs (180 + 5 weeks)

J attended ballet, tap, and hip hop classes, plus a show-and-tell class with MAHC folks on Zoom.

W attended his MC3classes online.

We postponed our Easter celebrations, for the most part, because I was at a birth.  But we did dye eggs:

This week some of the kids' activities began offering online classes.

J attended Ballet, Tap, and HipHop Zoom classes.

W's MC3 classes resumed online.

D was able to attend a Staging Journeys Zoom class.

All the kids participated in online religious education classes.

We went on a family walk:

St. Patrick's Day and Monopoly (180 + 2 weeks)

This week started a much slower-paced time, due to the pandemic.

D got excited about St. Patrick's Day and made crafts and green themed foods!


We played Monopoly (lots of good math and strategy, some reading.)


We planted vegetables and sunflowers, some in an old canoe that's been cracked in our backyard for a year:

Pandemic Week 1 (180 + 1 week)

R went to parkour.

And then the pandemic arrived in Montgomery County.  By the end of the week, all in-person classes were cancelled.

The kids participated in scaled back religious education programming.
