More March Snow (183/180)

There were a lot of changes to the schedule due to storms and snow.  R, D, and J enjoyed the snow, at least (D and J with neighbors, here)!

D went to Circus class, J went to Ballet, and W played D and D.

W attended a friend's Bat Mitzvah.

R, D and J attended their religious education classes.  D and J's classes included visiting an exhibit called Souls Shot, of portraits of victims of gun violence:



W worked on plans for building a gaming table:  

W, R, and D worked with LOF.  D finished Life of Fred: FarmingLife of Fred: Farming by Stanley F. Schmidt


W read independently.  R and D and J practiced reading.  J mastered

Our Whole Lives (177/180)

We went to the library.  W participated in his Outschool class.

All the kids attended their MAHC classes.

W attended his Teen Program classes, D attended her Circus class, and W played D and D.

All the kids attended their religious education classes.  R started the 4th-6th grade Our Whole Lives program.

W, R, and D worked with LOF.  J worked with Explode the Code.  W read independently, finishing:

W turns 14! (171/180)

We went for a hike:


 
(yeah, this is about how the hike went, attitude wise.)

W attended his online class.

All the kids attended their MAHC classes.  (Here is J in hers with a guest teacher):



W attended his Teen program classes, and played D and D several times.

D attended her circus class.

J tried out a ballet class.

R was excited to list and sell some electronics left to him by his late great-grandfather which were not especially useful to him but which will help cover the cost of the PC he is building.  He's learned a lot about the bidding process on EBay, etc.

W turned 14!  D and J helped make the cake:

Potlucks (165/180)

W participated in his online class on fantasy creature creation.

All the kids attended their MAHC classes.

W participated in his Teen coop classes.  D attended her circus class.

R did some baking.  Somehow his cookies got a bit overdone and melted together resulting in the "biggest cookie ever!"



We had two potlucks this week!  One was at church (no pictures) and one was at MAHC.  That one had a Lunar New Year theme.  The kids were able to make potstickers, do crafts, and play some really raucous games:

We went to the library (for the first time in a long time.)

W began an online course on creating fantasy creature characters.

D attended her circus class.
